I work with nonprofit staff and board to create cost-effective opportunities for expanding and diversifying their fundraising capacities, including but not limited to legacy giving. I assess your current situation and then design and implement a plan to translate loyal donors into legacy supporters, providing you with a sustainable income stream, and a deeper connection between your donors and your organization. I help make Planned Giving accessible, understandable and affordable for your non-profit, even if – especially if – you don’t have a dedicated planned giving staff member. I analyze where you are and set you up for future success.

I cut through the complexity of legacy giving to develop an individualized plan for recession-proof, steady income from a diverse and varied group of loyal donors. And most importantly, help you identify and celebrate those donors and their connection to your organization.

About Bruce:

With over 20 years of development experience, Bruce has been involved in all aspects of the donor lifecycle. From his first role inspiring young leaders to make their initial philanthropic support to his current work with supporters making their ultimate gifts, Bruce’s career in fundraising has run the gamut of individual giving. Bruce has started a planned giving program from scratch, resurrected a stagnant program, analyzed and expanded a small operation and has grown a mature program. Bruce has worked for small nonprofits as well as international organizations with multiple offices spanning continents and double-digit times zones. When not working, Bruce is mainly found on the tennis courts, or exploring obscure Brooklyn streets with his husband.
